GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

The Krewe of Sgian Dubh believes that celebrating Celtic heritage goes hand in hand with giving back to the community we call home. Through charitable fundraising, educational support, volunteer efforts, and community partnerships, we strive to make a meaningful difference throughout Central Louisiana.

From supporting local nonprofit organizations through our annual St. Andrew's Charity Dinner to providing scholarships and participating in community events, our members are committed to carrying forward the Celtic traditions of generosity, fellowship, and service.

CHARITABLE GIVING

Giving back is at the heart of the Krewe of Sgian Dubh. Each year, our St. Andrew's Charity Dinner brings together members, sponsors, and friends to raise funds and awareness for a selected local nonprofit organization.

We are especially committed to supporting organizations making a difference in Central Louisiana, including smaller nonprofits that may not receive federal funding.

Our 2026 charitable beneficiary is Six Feet Above, an organization dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
